Challenge
Forum Europe asked Blue Moon to develop creative proposals, giving their client, DIGITALEUROPE, a clear view of the technical possibilities in the ballroom of the Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher’s Hotel in Brussels.
Once the concept and look & feel were approved, Blue Moon moved forward with the technical and operational development of the project.

Approach
This hybrid event was designed for both the live audience on-site and the participants joining online. Every aspect of the show had to work seamlessly for both groups, whether watching from behind a screen or sitting in the room. This included audio and lighting quality, visibility of video content, and the overall dynamics. To achieve this, we set up two dedicated teams, each with its own focus: The “online” team created a dynamic TV-style show and the “offline” team delivered an impactful live experience
Custom stage design
In the plenary room, Blue Moon installed a 23-meter wall, combining two LED walls, three personalized prints, and four wooden structures. This design matched the client’s visual identity and added depth to both the stage and the broadcast. The stage itself was custom-built in the shape of DIGITALEUROPE’s logo, a speech bubble, so the entire scene truly embodied the brand.
To ensure excellent sightlines, Blue Moon constructed a tiered seating area in the room. The breakout space was also thoroughly redesigned, featuring a 9-meter-wide structure that integrated one LED wall and three customized prints, fully aligned with the event’s branding.
