By opening 6 new online event studios in Brussels and Ghent, we are taking new steps in our digital conversion. During the lockdown in April, we already opened 5 online event studios in Edegem and due to the enormous success of virtual events, we are expanding today with 6 new studios: 3 in Silo Brussels and 3 in Flanders Expo.
From our fully decorated streaming and recording studios, companies can organise small or large-scale professional events, but then online. An online first event is like an interactive television show with keynote speakers, Q&A, voting, chats, interviews, live music and virtual exhibition stands. A small number of people physically present in front of the camera and the majority of “attendees” follow the event online, via live or delayed streaming.
This online first trend has gained momentum due to the corona crisis and we expect online events to continue in the future, provided the line between online and offline becomes more blurred. The classic webinar has proven its worth over the past few months, but webinar fatigue is starting to emerge, often because you have to sit out for half an hour or an hour with a talking head and sound that leaves something to be desired. With the Blue Moon Online Event Studios we bring a professional television format to companies, and we give the viewer the feeling that he is in the room. Our studios have different sets, just like recording studios you know from television. All this gives the webinar a different dimension.
We have a total of 11 ready-to-use studios with different layouts, such as a comfortable lounge, a real TV set and even a bar. Customers use them for debates, keynotes, round table discussions, webinars, interviews, product presentations, and so on. ABN Amro Private Banking, the trade association Prebes, VOKA – Kamer van Koophandel Antwerpen-Waasland and the marketing agency BBC have already used the studios.
